This little one is Izzie with her balloons. She is from Stamping Bella.
I used Izzie on a sketch challenge with Stamping Bella. I'm so funny. I take sketch challenges so seriously! If the sketch has circles I use circles. If it has squares I use squares. If I think I need an embellishment but it's not in the sketch I don't use it! Is there a 12 step program for this curse?? I really admire those who take liberties with sketches. They are my artistic heroes!
Izzie was paper pieced using Basic Grey papers. The green ribbon binding is from Prairie Bird Boutique.
I found a new sketch challenge to try. Gotta go drive myself nuts!! Enjoy your day my friends!
I had to laugh reading about your sketch "issues" - you are not the only sufferer by any means - I have only recently forced myself to interpret the sketches more freely.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card though, paper piecing is such a versatile technique!

I really am very literal about sketches too, it's so hard to break out of the mold when it's drawn right there in front of you! :P
ReplyDeleteThose little stamping Bella's are just adorable! Love the seam binding too!
I love Izzie! Beautiful colors! I don't know enough about the techniques of stamping to comment further! It looks like fun but also hard work to make it look so professional.
