Proverbs 3:5

Hi friends!  It's been awhile!  I'm such a horrible blogger but I do have good intentions!

Linda Carson, Memory Box, PTI
I've been playing with Color Bursts again.  This time I used a couple of Memory Box dies and made one huge flower.  I really love the vivid colors.
Ken Oliver makes Color Bursts as well as an adhesive product called Stick It.  It is made especially for those delicate dies.  I used it on the white outline die of the flower.  Easy to use and saves one from a sticky mess!  I highly recommend it!
Papertrey Ink restocked the Lord die and Lord mini stamp set so I jumped all over it!  I hope they come out with more scriptures to use with this die.  It's so pretty.
Thanks for visiting!  Please take a moment to leave a comment just to stay in touch.  It's been a long 6 weeks for me.  I needed this scripture!  Take care and hope to be back real soon!

Thank You

Happy Tuesday!  Today's card was made for my sister-in-law who blessed me with a birthday gift of homemade apricot bars!  They were so good.
I know you can find the recipe online if you are interested.  Just search for date bars and substitute apricots.  My husband loves the date bars but give me apricots.

This card was difficult to photograph with mostly white and then using Brilliance Jade ink so my apologies.
Using double-sided tape I cut the Memory Box die and loaded it with aqua micro beads.  I've done this before and really like the look and texture.  The sentiment is from Flourishes.
I haven't seen an update about Flourishes lately.  I understood they were opening again.  We'll see.
Thanks for brightening my day by visiting!!

Sweet Friendship

Happy Monday! Hope you enjoyed your weekend.  Since the Razorbacks won their football game I enjoyed mine!
I made this card for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges but did not post it here.  The card drive has ended.
This card is easy to make.  The sentiment stamp is by Flourishes and the butterfly is Memory Box.  Patterned paper is Basic Grey.  The flower is Spellbinders Flower Die 9.  I used mulberry paper to give it a soft look.  Add in a few pearls and you've have it made.
I appreciate your sweet friendship in taking your time to stop by and leaving a comment!  Have a delightful week!

Make A Wish

I had a wish to come true today.  My wish was to make a card before midnight!  I have a tendency to stamp around 11 to 1 am.  Guess I get my second wind.
This stamp is from.....Flourishes.  They do sell more than just flowers!  The butterflies behind the girl are from Memory Box stamps.  I thought it would be a nice touch.
The paper is Basic Grey.  I also used a touch of Flower Soft at her feet.  The petals are a Martha Stewart punch.  Pearls were used for the centers.
This sketch is from Sketch Saturday.  I'll enter it in that challenge as well as Timeless Tuesday at Flourishes.  I won last Tuesday so you'll see more Flourishes!
