Mary with Baby Jesus

Welcome back on this Monday!  I'm still making Christmas cards.....no surprise.  My problem is I don't want to mail them!  I get attached and don't want to let go.  I just put so much love and work in each one I want them to have a good home.  Now you're thinking I'm crazy and should get back on my meds.....
Mary and Baby Jesus are stamps from Whiff of Joy.  The papers are Cosmo Cricket called Winter Mittens.  The lace is Webster's Pages.
     Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Matthew 1:21

Today's card was inspired by a store bought card we received last Christmas.  It reeked of a popular embossing folder with the swirls.  It's hard to see the swirls in this picture though.
I used a sheet of double sided adhesive with the embossing folder.  If I do this again I will run it through twice for a better impression.  An oval nestie was used to remove the center.
The surrounding leaves were cut from a sheet of green glitter paper using a Martha Stewart punch.  Sticklers were used for the berries.  The golden glitter is from Art Institute Glitter.  It's really stunning stuff.  I need more....
The scripture stamp is from Our Daily Bread Designs.  Baby Jesus is from Whiff of Joy.
Enjoy your Tuesday!  Stamp on my friends!!

Challenges include:
Our Daily Bread Designs - Christmas card
PaperTake Weekly - Anything goes
Joan's Gardens - Christmas
Paper Sundaes - Christmas
Frosted Designs - Glitter

Must Be Love

Good Thursday morning!  Today's card is the one I made for my husband in celebration of our anniversary.  I just love this stamp from Whiff of Joy.  He's completing his woman or keeping her head straight.  Hopefully he's not taking her head off!!  Anyhow it's the perfect image for a winter anniversary.
I kept the design simple since my husband doesn't need bling or flowers.  You know how men are about those things.  He really liked the card.
The paper is Memory Box.  The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.  I used a Judikins stipple brush with Brilliance ink for the background.
Have a blessed day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Angel Delivering Christmas Tree

Well since my last post we got Mom moved completely (thank heaven), my sister flew home, we have a new baby boy in the family and dear husband and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary!  Whew!
Then, after all that, I lost my mojo!  I think it could be in my messy stamp room but who knows.  I need to ask Santa to bring me some mojo!
I finally made this angel delivering Christmas tree card.  She is from Whiff of Joy.
I colored with Copics and shaded with Versamark Wheat.  I had to cut her skirt outside the frame because one dark green marker was juicy and it dripped.  I didn't want to start over so this was my solution.
The luscious paper is Memory Box and the petite roses are Webster Pages.  There's a touch of glitter on her wings and glossy accents on her headdress.
More company arrives tomorrow.  Tis the season!
                                  Enjoy your week!

Snowman Herb

Hello all!  I hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving!  We had a wonderful day with family.  I meant to post a turkey card but had to make pies, chocolate and cranberry streusel.  I love making pie!
This snowman is Herb from Whiff of Joy.  He has to be one of my favorite snowmen.
I found the glitter-type ribbon at Michaels.  I was amazed how easy it was to use.  Paper is Cosmo Cricket.
Herb can be found at the following challenges, Simon Says Stamp , Mark's Finest Paper , Stampin for the Weekend , A Spoonful of Sugar and Fab n Funky
I will be in and out for a couple of weeks.  My sister is coming to help me move our Mom.  Then more company arrives when she leaves.  Tis the season!
Your friendship is truly a blessing in my life!

Uru and Bird

Today's card is another Whiff of Joy gnome named Uru and Bird.  I just love these little gnomes.  Uru is going to be entered in the Sketch and Stash challenge.
The challenge is to use their sketch and use your newest stash. What fun!  The newest item on this card is the Webster's aqua glitter sparkle
This is the first time I've used the stamp and Cosmo Crickett paper.  I ran out of time last Christmas to use either item so they are new to my stash.  The three glitter dots are from Stamping Bella.
Can you believe all of the stamping challenges?  If my husband didn't need supper or clean socks I'd enter more of them....lol  Enjoy your day!

Wee and Drum

It's been awhile since my last post.  Company has gone home, husband is back from hunting and my extra dog should go home today.
This stamp is Wee and Drum by Whiff of Joy.  I've posted Wee before but this is my first time to color Wee in blue.  Lucky for me the current Whiff of Joy challenge is a Christmas card.
I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch. You still have time to participate but it's due today.
My card fits the Flourishes challenge to win this month's new release.  The challenge is to use shades of blue....my favorite color.
Tip Top Tuesday's challenge is Christmas inspired.
Wee is colored with Copics and shaded with Platinum Brilliance ink.  It matched the color in the paper. Paper is from Hobby Lobby. The punch is Martha Stewart.
Hope you have a creative week!
