Charlie & Company

Meet Charlie and his pet frog.  He dwells in the land of  Stamping Bella!  Isn't he cute?  I need more kid type stamps and Charlie was too hard to resist.
I colored with Copics using X-Press paper.  I was trying to channel my Linda Heavens "wanna-be" artistic skills!  You "must" visit her blog right after you leave here.
Linda colored Charlie and told which Copics she used.  I didn't have all the colors but that wasn't necessary.  I was trying to copy achieve her coloring style.  I see more practice in my future!  Linda uses pencils and oms for shading.  I was going to also but remembered X-Press paper is too smooth.  It does not have any tooth.  I read that on Linda's blog.
The paper is Memory Box.  The marble dots are also from Stamping Bella. They came in handy for gravel.
This was the first time I tried sewing in a circle.  You'd think I would have used white thread.  However, the kid has a frog on his head so I wasn't too concerned with awkward sewing!
     Thanks for stopping by!
