Dina Kowal is the Limelight Designer each Sunday this month at Flourishes. She showed a technique she created to add dimension to stamped images.
I tried it on the peaches. The picture doesn't do it justice but a couple of these peaches are popped out making them look plump.
Although I need to practice Dina's technique I was pleased with my first attempt.
My card will be entered at Flourishes' challenge to win this month's release. You need to make a card with fruit on it.
Of course the peaches are by Flourishes. I added more dimension by adding additional leaves and popped up the cherry jar on the bottom left corner. The paper is by Webster's Pages.
I'll also enter peaches at CPS, Mark's Finest Papers and PaperPlay. Wish I had a peach about now. I used all I had in a peach cobbler last week. It was delicious!
Linda this card is just yummy. I love your little canning jars on the bottom. What a nice warm and cozy comfort feeling card this is. Thank you so much for playing along in Speedy's Friends Challenge. It's a pleasure to see your work. Hope you can join us next week!
