Flourishes - The Show Me Challenge
The
Flourishes team challenged their followers to come up with fun challenge ideas. If they chose your idea you win an opportunity to be the hostess of your own challenge using one of the new stamp
sets in the release. One of my ideas was chosen! That means I'm the hostess of today's challenge on the Flourishes blog! My challenge is called the Show Me Challenge.
My card is from the new set Seasons of Celebration by Lauren Pope. The technique I chose was Faux Tile. This technique makes silhouette stamps come to life. Through this window we'll watch the kids decorate the tree. You can imagine their excitement!
I used cat eye Memento inks on the tree, tree stand and box. The background was airbrushed. Patterned paper is by Webster's Pages. The glittered snowflakes and embossed Christmas tree are Spellbinders.
The golden beads used to decorate the kids' tree were also used under the bow and around the snowflakes.
For all the details on the Show Me Challenge along with the other release challenges this week visit the Flourishes Blog. For more fabulous inspiration using the Seasons of Celebration set visit these design team ladies:

Hope you'll join in this challenge and try a new technique! Have a creative day!
