Looks like it's been awhile since my last post. Shame on me! I've been stamping but not blogging. Shame again!
All month long on SCS it's all about Hope You Can Cling To for breast cancer awareness. I entered this card in one of the challenges.
This card as well as others will be sent to the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. Visitors will be able to use them for patients.
Several years ago I lost my husband to cancer. Three years ago his daughter died of cancer. She was a patient of MD Anderson. Mailing a few cards is the least I can do to encourage someone else going through this disease.
I used a sketch from Verve. The stamps are also Verve. Paper is My Mind's Eye. The crochet basket is Webster's Pages.
Thanks for coming by! Your comments make me smile and are truly appreciated!
Beautiful card and a worthy cause! Congratulations!

How pretty, love the crochet basket embellie!
ReplyDeleteI simply love the sentiment stamp, and the crochet basket is so pretty and a nice textural addition. An altogether lovely card, Linda. I'm sorry to hear of the sadness you've experienced from this awful disease. I lost my Mom to cancer a few years ago.
