Joy to the World

Don't you just love Christmas carols?  This card features the Joy to the World hymn stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I had different plans for this stamp but came across some Basic Grey Jovial paper and knew I wanted to use it for the stamp.  I was also playing with the Spellbinders poinsettia die so it all came together.  All that was left was to curl the edges, a touch of distress ink and pearls.
With all that said there are a couple of similar cards in the ODBD gallery but different embellishments.  So, guess you can say I cased my card.  It's the paper's fault!  It was perfect for this stamp!  In fact it screamed to be used!
You'll see the stamp again.  I already have another design in mind for it.  I love this stamp.
     Hope you enjoy your Monday!

  2. This is gorgeous. I just love how you used the ODBD stamp and the poinsettia is lovely. You used some really great paper choices to cut the poinsettia that compliment the Basic Grey paper really well. Great job on this. And, thanks SO much for sharing this gorgeous card with us at Word Art Wednesday and blessing us by playing along with us in this week's challenge. It's such a treat to visit your blog and see your sweet cards. Thanks SO much, and have a very blessed week.
