With Sympathy

Hi friends!  Today I have a simple CAS sympathy card.  A friend of ours recently lost his wife of 55 years to cancer.  I wanted to keep the card clean without lace or pearls.
The tea rose is Flourishes.  The sentiment is Stampin' Up.  I colored the rose with chalks.  The sentiment is popped up and scored lines surround the card.  The shadow around the rose is not that intense.  I can't seem to get it to come out soft so you'll have to use your imagination!!
Thanks for visiting!  Have a fabulous weekend!

  2. The simplicity of the scored lines adds so much to your image and sentiment. Chalk is great. Our Canadian Thanksgiving has just past and we are so blessed to see this beautiful work of art, as well as being very thankful for your past posts.

  4. This is so lovely Linda...simplicity and elegance. So hard to have to make cards for that reason...but I'm sure it is a lovely comfort.
