God is Our Refuge

Happy Tuesday!  This month marks the 6th Anniversary of Our Daily Bread Designs!  Each Tuesday in March we will be hosting challenges keeping in celebration of a 6th anniversary.
Traditionally a 6th anniversary gift is metal or sweets.  So the first challenge is to create something using sweet or using metal.
Linda Carson, ODBD
I chose to use the ODBD set, Keep My Lamp Burning.  This set is timeless because of all the promises we have from God being our refuge, strong tower or strength.
I colored the image using Pan Pastel chalks I bought Santa bought me.  I really enjoyed creating with these creamy chalks.  Santa needs to be watching for another sale.  I need more colors!
I found the metal anchor charm at Wal-Mart's jewelry making section.  (Thank you Becky!)  The paper is by Glitz.
For more inspiration on this challenge please visit these amazingly creative ladies from the challenge team,

To see all of the artwork in one place or join in on the challenge click here.  You have until Sunday, March 9th to enter.
For this challenge you may use any stamps but if you have Our Daily Bread Designs stamps we would love to see you use them. If you participate, you have a chance to win the $15 certificate toward ODBD stamps or to be Spotlighted for the Shining the Light Award (The Shining the Light Award is only for those who use ODBD stamps).
ODBD's March release is now available.  I'll have a card tomorrow showcasing the Zinnias and hummingbird.  Hope you'll join me!
Have a creative day!

  10. Beautiful work with the color on this! I like using chalks, and the idea of creamy chalks is very appealing to me. Do I need more coloring supplies? Well, I do love to color! Cute little charm and, of course, perfect for your very impressive card!
