Hello friends! Our Tuesday Shining the Light challenge with Our Daily Bread Designs is a sketch! I heart sketch challenges! Here's my card and the sketch.
As you can see I flipped the sketch. So have fun with this sketch either way!
I used the new designer papers, Christian Faith Collection, as well as a verse from the Anniversary Collection Scripture 12. The final touches include adding a Beautiful Border die, Vintage Flourish Pattern die, stitching, airbrushing and a double bow with a flower.

What a comfort to know that God is always there to take us out of even the most dire of circumstances!! I just love the shading of the verse panel, your use of dies and your colors Linda!! The added stitching and bow are such a beautiful touch!! Gorgeous!!

Oh, Linda, this is a wonderful verse that reminds me of all that God has done and continues to do for me! And it's clear you love sketches and do them well! This is so beautiful, and I love your combination of papers, beautiful stitching, ribbon and flower! And I love how you've sponged around the verse! Such a gorgeous card, sweet friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWell, that verse says it all!! That is the verse I think of all the time when I think of my life when Christ rescued me!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your blues and purples my friend!!! Love the sewing around your purple panel and your pretty bow with flower!!!
Just beautiful!!
Beautiful design Linda. Bold colors that still allow the sentiment to shine through. This sentiment is how I feel. Great job.
ReplyDeleteOh what a gorgeous creation, Linda! My mom used that verse when she gave her testimony, so always makes me think of her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, and one of my favorite scriptures which adds, "He put a new song in my mouth." Before I met Jesus I knew the words to the song but not the music. Now I know the music and the music is Jesus!
