Happy Birthday

Linda Carson, Verve

Hello!  Today I took some Cosmo Cricket papers and made a card using this week's Deconstructing Jen's sketch with a Verve sentiment.
The embellishment came with the papers.  I normally don't use those but this one worked just fine especially since I didn't like what I originally had in mind.
I have a little tip of something I do.  When I use a sketch that I like from a challenge I'll sketch it out in a notebook.  After making the card I'll go back and measure the length and width of each element, square, etc. and jot those on the sketch in the notebook.  This way the next time I make a card using the sketch it's a breeze to come together.  I hope all that made sense and may be something you might try.
Thanks for dropping by!  Enjoy your day!

  6. Such a beautiful card, Linda. You always do such a lovely job, and I'm incredibly grateful that you've shared this wonderful card in our challenge this week. It's a joy to have you join us at Word Art Wednesday and I thank you. I also appreciate your kind words and encouragement about my application to HFC, but I had to withdraw my application due to so much going on with our family right now. Thanks for all your encouragement, Linda. It means a lot, and I appreciate your confidence in me. Thanks for being such a good friend and for your prayers for my dear sister.
Take care, and have a blessed week. Thanks again for sharing with us at Word Art Wednesday.
