Wisemen

Welcome!  Our Holiday biweekly challenge continues this week at Shining the Light with Our Daily Bread Designs.  Remember it can be Thanksgiving or Christmas.

ODBD, Poinsettia Wreath, Wisemen Ornament, Circle Ornaments die, Matting Circles dies, designer Linda Carson
For today's card I used the Wisemen Ornament along with a sentiment from the Poinsettia Wreath set.  The dies used include Circle Ornaments and Matting Circles.
The Wisemen were stamped using Delicata Golden Glitz pigment die.  Ladies, if you haven't tried this ink grab a coupon and head to the craft store!  A bit pricy for an ink pad but it's absolutely gorgeous without using embossing powder.
The stars were made using a stencil, embossing paste and Brilliance ink refill.  A few rhinestones and golden twine complete the card.
Please visit the other ladies on the Challenge Team for some beautiful inspiration.

Hope you'll create with us this week!  Thanks for stopping by!

  9. I'm very intrigued by this ink! It looks absolutely gorgeous on your card. Furthermore, you did an amazing job with the stars stencil. As soon as I saw this I wondered about those stars and was surprised to read it was a stencil. So pretty! Your card is truly outstanding, Linda. The navy and gold are elegant and beautiful together and the design you created is a real show stopper.
