Blessing

Happy New Year friends!!  I've started the New Year by cleaning my craft room!  It's not a resolution.  It's a necessity!
I failed to post this last minute Christmas card.  Actually it was a thank you for my sister-in-law to go with her present.
She is a blessing to me because she takes my Mom to her doctor's appointments.  I live with chronic pain and can't always do it.
Linda Carson, Honey Bee
I didn't have time to color so I grabbed this new Blessing(s)(ed) die from Honey Bee Stamps.
I just love this technique of adding layers to a die.  I used red underneath so no matter how you held the card you could see the festive red layers.
Adding a few sequins completed the card.  It was fast and easy.
Thanks for dropping by!  Here's to a creative 2017!!

Challenges:
Dies R Us - anything goes using die cuts
WAW - anything goes
Allsorts - use something new (Blessing die)

  1. I've tried twice to comment but they both disappeared. Anyway, I like your new card.

  2. that is so pretty, so sweet of your sister in law, and so special to let her know. I have not yet tried this technique but have seen it on quite a few cards and love it, the paper you picked is so pretty.
Wishing you a happy healthy New Year

  7. I love how you did the sentiment from the same paper as the card base! And I always love the layered die cuts. The red underneath really makes it stand out. Happy new year, Linda!
