Bee Balm

Welcome to the second week of challenges celebrating the 6th Anniversary of Our Daily Bread Designs!  The gemstone for a 6th anniversary is amethyst.  Your challenge is to use amethyst, purple or lavender on your card.
Linda Carson, ODBD

I was anxious for this challenge because I love creating with purple!  I used the beautiful Bee Balm flower.  The dies used are Beautiful Borders and Elegant Oval.
A pearl pen was used for the flower tips and the shadow was airbrushed.  Papers are Memory Box.
For more inspiration on this challenge please visit these amazingly creative ladies from the challenge team,

For this challenge you may use any stamps but if you have Our Daily Bread Designs stamps we would love to see you use them. If you participate, you have a chance to win the $15 certificate toward ODBD stamps or to be Spotlighted for the Shining the Light Award (The Shining the Light Award is only for those who use ODBD stamps).
There is currently a Spring Sale at ODBD.  You can find all of the details on the blog.

  9. I used to have a couple large patches of red Bee Balm in the garden. It was so pretty, but gone now. This looks beautiful in purple with your perfect paper and ribbon. The black mat really sets it off. Love the look you got with the pearl pen, too.
