Merry Be Your Christmas

Welcome back!  It's week 2 of our sketch challenge at Shining the Light with Our Daily Bread Designs.
Our Daily Bread Designs, Sparkling Stars dies, His Birth, Winter Collection 2014, designer Linda Carson

My card starts with the Winter Collection 2014 papers.  The sentiment and stars are from His Birth set.  The pattern in the stars matches the pattern in the papers.  The stars were cut using Sparkling Stars dies.
I wish the picture showed all of the sparkle from gold embossing on the stars to golden thread and golden stitches.  Even the paper with the sentiment sparkles.  Lastly the sparkle on the golden dots.
You'll want to visit the rest of the Challenge Team for more inspiration on this challenge:

One personal item before I go.  This is my last post as part of the Challenge Team for ODBD.  What a blessing this past year has been to be part of a talented group of Christian women!!  I will truly miss it.

  6. The stretchy gold cord around the stars is a crowning touch to the wonderful embossed background DP. The gold zig zag stitching ties it together, a great take on the sketch. We really appreciate that you are posting art with us in this two week challenge, at Word Art Wednesday. Blessings to you and yours, Carole Merry Christmas!
