Hugs and Prayers

Hi friends!  It's been awhile since my last post.  I recently had an injection in the spine to hopefully help ease my chronic pain.  Unfortunately it had the opposite reaction and made things worse!  So understandably stamping hasn't been happening.
Today, however, I have my first ever no-line coloring! Yeah for me!

Linda Carson, Taylored Expressions
I really admire those who use this technique regularly.  I have tried before but the image I chose was too difficult.
This image is called Bloomin' Background by Taylored Expressions.  The sentiment and die are Hero Arts.
I stamped the image with Memento Angel Pink and used only 6 Copic markers.  I may try this again using all violet.  Although the card can stand alone I added some sequins.  Can't help myself!
Thanks for visiting!  Until next time, stamp on, color on and create something beautiful!!

  1. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been well lately, but very glad to see that you took some time for you to try an extremely difficult technique (I have tried and failed many times!). The outcome is beautiful and it also shows what you can do with just a few Copics. THank you so much for playing along at the Flower Challenge this month. Ruth DT xx

  2. Say what??? Oh, my word, I can hardly believe you colored this! It looks like the most beautiful designer paper. Love that you used limited colors. I can just imagine it in violet or any other flower color. What a gorgeous stamp, and your no line coloring is amazing. Love the stamp/die set you used, too. Of course, I had to go look at your links. Can't wait to catch up on my not yet used stuff so I can start getting a few new things again. Gosh, I'm sorry to hear you've been in so much pain. I hope today's card means you're feeling a little better now. Sounds like you could use some hugs and prayers yourself!

  4. So sorry to hear about the pain you have been in and that the injection didn't give you the relief you were looking for, I hope seeing you have done this card that it is getting a little better at least.
The card is just beautiful and you have done a lovely job with the no line coloring, I still have a hard time with it myself but it looks like you have mastered it :)
